PSDC offers 3 levels of Lindy Hop lessons, plus occasional workshops and special topic lessons. Whether you're dancing for the very first time or you've been swinging out for years, we have something for you!
Series are typically 4-weeks long and start the first week of each month.

Lindy Hop 1 - Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00pm
No dance experience or partner required!
During this 4-week progressive series you'll learn about connecting with a dance partner, and fundamental 8-count rhythms and moves - including the SWING OUT, the most iconic shape in Lindy Hop!
Visit our FAQs page for what to expect in our classes.
Lindy Hop 1 starts new every every month.

Lindy Hop 2 - Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00pm
Once you feel like you have a decent grasp on Lindy Hop 1 content, you're ready to move onto Lindy Hop 2!
Lindy Hop 2 delves deeper into specific skills and communication technique. You'll also learn new shapes, rhythms, and learn more about the history of Lindy Hop and Jazz music. Lindy Hop 2 consists of FOUR months of rotating topics:
Lindy 2A: "Building Up Basics"
Lindy 2B: "6-Count & Other Rhythms"
Lindy 2C: "Spins & Turns"
Lindy 2D: "Lindy Hop & Partnered Charleston"

You can join Lindy Hop 2 at any month and complete these four series in any order. Just make sure to complete all four months of topics - or make up for a missed month via private lessons - before moving on to Lindy Hop 3!

Lindy Hop 3 - Sundays, 2:00-3:00pm
When you're confident with the four months of Lindy Hop 2 content, join Lindy Hop 3! Topics vary each month, and are selected based on dancer interests, skill-building needs, and instructor passions! Past topics have included musicality, advanced shapes and variations, developing dancer creativity and style, choreographed routines, solo jazz, and more!
Open Practice Room - Sundays, 3:00-4:00pm
Are you wanting to work on something you're learning in class, trying to create something new, or wanting to just learn from and share with others? The Open Practice Room is open to ALL dancers, regardless of whether you're currently taking lessons. We recommend that you bring a bluetooth speaker and coordinate with other dancers in advance to make sure you have someone to practice with.
Not sure what music to play while practicing? Our instructors made a practice playlist for you!
