Lessons

Whether you're dancing for the very first time or you've been swinging out for years, we have something for you!

Series are typically 4-weeks long and begin the first week of each month. You are welcome to repeat any series as many times as you'd like.

Lindy Hop 1 - Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00pm

No dance experience or partner required!

During this 4-week progressive series you'll learn about connecting with a dance partner, and fundamental 8-count rhythms and moves - including the SWING OUT, the most iconic shape in Lindy Hop!

Visit our FAQs page for what to expect in our classes.

Lindy Hop 1 runs every month.

Lindy Hop 2 - Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00pm

Feel like you have a decent grasp on Lindy Hop 1 content? Then you're ready to move onto Lindy Hop 2!

Lindy Hop 2 delves deeper into specific skills and communication technique. You'll also learn new shapes, rhythms, and learn more about the history of Lindy Hop and Jazz music. Lindy Hop 2 consists of FOUR months of rotating topics:

Lindy 2A: "Building Up Basics"

Lindy 2B: "6-Count & Other Rhythms"

Lindy 2C: "Spins & Turns"

Lindy 2D: "Lindy Hop & Partnered Charleston"

You can join Lindy Hop 2 at any month and complete these four series in any order. Just make sure to complete all four months of topics - or make up for a missed month via private lessons - before moving on to Lindy Hop 3-level workshops!

Open Practice Room - Sundays, 2:00-4:00pm

Open to ALL of our community, regardless of whether you're currently taking lessons with us.

Are you wanting to work on something you're learning in class, trying to create something new, or wanting to just learn from and share with others?  We recommend that you bring a bluetooth speaker and coordinate with other dancers in advance to make sure you have someone to practice with.

Not sure what music to play while practicing? Our instructors made a practice playlist for you!
