The Big Apple: Part 1
Instructors: Jamie
The Big Apple is a CLASSIC, high energy, (mostly) solo jazz line dance that was choreographed by Frankie Manning and Whitey’s Lindy Hoppers in the 1930s. It's super fun and always gets the dancefloor going crazy! The Big Apple is a longer routine and a level up from other line dances like the Shim Sham, so we'll be teaching half in December... and the other half later in 2026! That means you'll have lots of time to practice Part 1 before learning Part 2 ;)
PREREQUISITE: Completion of Lindy Hop 1, experience learning solo dance movement, or equivalent experience. Not sure if you have equivalent experience? Contact us!
Series begins WEDNESDAY, December 10.
Dates: 12/10 and 12/17
Lesson: 7:00 PM - 8:00PM
Dance: 8:00 PM - 10:00PM
Please arrive 10 minutes early to check-in and stretch.
