Description: The Big Apple is a classic, high energy solo jazz routine choreographed by Frankie Manning and performed by Whitey's Lindy Hoppers in the 1930s. It's super fun and always gets the dance floor going crazy! The Big Apple is a longer routine and a level up from other line dances like the Shim Sham, so some solo jazz experienced is recommended - but anyone who is up for a challenge is welcome to attend.
We’ll be learning Part 2 FIRST at 11:00. Part 1 will begin promptly at 2:00 after a 1-hour break. Bring a light lunch, snacks for breaks, and a full water bottle - you're going to work!
Prerequisites: Some experience with solo jazz is recommended, but not required (e.g. knowledge of other line dances like the Shim Sham and/or Tranky Doo). Contact Jamie P. on Discord if you have questions or want suggestions for a few solo jazz moves to look up beforehand.
Price: $35
